I’m Irene Maragos, a native English speaker and language enthusiast from Montreal, Canada with 20 years of translation and editing experience.
From 2004, my portfolio has included esteemed clients such as universities, government organizations, corporations and individuals as well as extremely selective translation agencies that have trusted me with highly confidential documents.
Proficient in both French and Greek, I have earned my reputation from delivering exceptional customer service as a Specialist Translator and Interpreter of legal, medical, pharmaceutical & clinical, financial & accounting and academic content.
I currently live in the picturesque city of Ioannina, in the Region of Epirus, Northwestern Greece, a hidden gem tucked in the Greek countryside which effortlessly merges historical legacy, natural beauty and cultural heritage. A wonderful place to live, work, eat, meet, and travel.

Founded in 2022, its purpose is to fuel Ioannina’s growth as a regional innovation and digital hub through impactful actions, one of which is the launch of the city’s very first Community-driven Coworking space and Techuse, a yearly conference that bridges technology, innovation and culture.
